The Institute of Plant Breeding and Acclimatization – National Research Institute was established in 1951 as a scientific institution dedicated to research in the fields of breeding and seed production of agricultural crops, cultivation technologies for oilseeds, root crops, and potatoes, as well as implementation, dissemination, standardization, and unification efforts.
The Institute's scope of activities includes the development of theories and research methodologies, as well as the preparation of analyses and assessments of the state of development in scientific fields covered by its statutory activities.
